Terms And Conditions
- A deposit to secure accommodation, amounting of 50 % of the accommodation fee, shall be payable on confirmation of the booking. The deposit is payable within 48hrs to confirm reservation. The balance of the payment to be made at least thirty (30) days prior to arrival date.
- No reservation can be considered booked until a deposit is received. Deposits are for specific persons booked, and cannot be substituted, or transferred to any other booking or person.
- The ProForma invoice is valid for 24hours and the rate can change without prior notice.
- Any changes to booking or cancellations must be done in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to date of arrival.
- Bookings cancelled less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival will forfeit 100% deposit + 100% of accommodation fees.
- Booking cancelled less that forty five (45) days prior to arrival will forfeit 50% deposit except for Easter and December Holidays. Booking cancelled on Easter or December holidays less than (45) days will forfeit 100% of all monies paid.
- A cancellation fee of 25% of the invoice total will be charged on all bookings made and cancelled outside the above time period.
- Should payments or booking procedures not be received as per this schedule, the booking will automatically be deemed cancelled, with forfeiture of all amounts paid.
- Please note that Peak Season bookings are made back to back and NO Shortening of stays will be permitted!
- Guests may take occupation of the accommodation from 14:00pm on the day of arrival and agree to leave by 10:00am on the day of departure, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Kindly note that after reservations have been confirmed and accepted no refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures or cancellations and the amount paid will be forfeited as a reservation service fee.
- No refund on deposit if cancellation on a long weekend.
- No other guests shall be entitled to stay in the accommodation other than those booked and paid for prior to occupation.
- Guests shall not cede or assign his/her booking without prior consent, nor shall he/she sub-let the premises or any part thereof with or without remuneration, without prior written permission.
- Availability is limited and bookings made subject to availability, strictly on a first come first serve basis.
- December – January Peak Season bookings: notwithstanding the above payment schedule, all payments for Peak Seasons Standard Booking must be received in full by the latest 15th November, irrespective of the arrival date.
General
- R1000-00 cash (refundable deposit) or your passport will be required as a key deposit.
- It is strongly advised that you take insect repellent as there are mosquitos.
- No smoking inside the cabins.
- Smoking outside on the decks is allowed.
Other
The owner and management company cannot be held responsible for:
- Any loss of/or damage to the property or possessions of any guest, resident or visitor, whether such damage was caused by fire, theft or otherwise, or by the negligence or the wrongful act of anyone in the employment of /or acting on behalf on the owner;
- Any personal injuries of whatsoever nature, sustained by a guest, resident or visitor, whether such injuries were sustained by the negligence or wrongful act of anyone employed by the owner or any other person or by the defective functioning of any apparatus or appliance of the owner.
- Any damage to fittings, fixtures or contents will be charged to the guest at replacement cost.
- Guests shall be responsible for any damage done to the premises, any furniture or other objects, or the removal of anything from the premises and shall be responsible for any damages caused to the common areas of the property.
- Should any damage caused by the guest(s) be claimable under an insurance policy, the guest shall pay any excess on that policy claim, which will be charged to his/her credit card.
- Guests agree for breakage/lost keys/damage, etc to be charged to his account.
- Please ensure that the braai fire is fully extinguished before leaving.
- Please do not use portable braais on the wooden decks. Utilize the braai fireplace provided.
- Do not leave burning candles unattended inside or outside the cabin.
- On departure, please ensure that all chairs and tables (if any) on the deck and/or under the trees are stored on the deck or inside the cabin.
- Bath towels may not be used at the beach.
- Right of admission reserved.
- Please keep music and noise levels low so as not to disturb your neighbors’.
- The client paying takes responsibility for ensuring the decent behavior of his/her party. Should the client(s) behave in such a manner that it is not acceptable by civilized standards, the Manager may ask the client and his/her party to vacate the premises immediately.
- Kindly take note that cleaners will only clean the bathrooms, make the bed, sweep the floors& wash dishes (once a day). Should you need any other household tasks taken care of, arrange with the Manager. Additional help can be arranged for the client’s account.
- All accommodation fully serviced every day.
- No pets allowed.
All additional amounts have to be paid cash. We do have card and credit card facilities at the resort.
